It sells peptides alongside SARMs, nootropics, research oils and oral strips, ships from the United States with a 4 PM Central same-day cut-off, and runs separate storefronts for Europe and Canada. It has a real independent testing record on one compound, a public library of third-party lab reports in 2025, and, since 2026, a log-in wall in front of its whole catalogue.

This is a desk review: everything here comes from what anyone can check from the outside, read on 27 October 2026. The live store blocks automated readers and hides its products behind a business registration, so the Bureau read the store's own pages through dated Wayback Machine copies, the lab's own copies of two certificates, Finnrick's independent test record, Trustpilot and the FDA's warning letters. The Bureau has not placed an order. Where something could not be verified, the page says so.

What Modern Aminos is and what it sells

The store gives its operator as Modern Aminos, with returns going to "M.A. LLC" at 9169 W State St #1451, Garden City, Idaho. That is the address on the October 2026 home page, contact page and refund policy. In September 2025 the footer gave a different one, a suite at 30 N Gould St in Sheridan, Wyoming, with a phone number. Both are suite-style mailing addresses rather than a named warehouse, and the Bureau has not seen a company filing for M.A. LLC, so the legal entity behind the store is only as clear as those two lines. Peptide Mind, a third-party review site, dates the business to 2023.

The catalogue is broad and not peptide-only. Archived product pages from 2025 and 2026 show the familiar research peptides (BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, MOTS-c, ipamorelin, CJC-1295, tesamorelin, semax, selank and blends such as "GLOW" and "KLOW"), the GLP class sold under codes (GLP-1 SM, GLP-2 TZ, GLP-3 RT, and in 2026 a listing called MA-3RT), plus SARMs such as RAD-140, MK-677 and ostarine, aminotadalafil, NAD+ and L-carnitine liquids, and oral "dissolving strips" including a tesofensine product. Every page carries the research-only line, and the October 2026 terms require buyers to be 21 or older.

The biggest change for a buyer is access. By October 2026 the home page invites visitors to register or log in to see the catalogue, with a business-type field on the sign-up form, and the contact form says "Please log in to submit this form." The store also sits behind a browser check that turned away every automated reader the Bureau tried. In practice that means you cannot compare prices or open a certificate before handing over an email address, which is a step backwards from the open COA library the store ran in 2025.

Testing and COAs: what the store claims and what the reports show

The claims are strong. The October 2026 home page says "each product undergoes third-party, multi-vial batch testing to verify purity, compound identity, quantity, and endotoxin levels", that every vial carries a unique batch number matching its report, and that a QR code on each vial and package leads to the third-party COA. Its FAQ names HPLC for purity, LC-MS for molecular mass and bacterial endotoxin testing as the methods used.

The paperwork the Bureau could read is narrower. The store's public COA page, archived in September 2025, linked five reports to Chromate, an analytical lab whose verify page serves its own copy of each certificate from a job number and access code, plus four PDF reports hosted on the store's own server. The Bureau pulled two of the Chromate reports from the lab's site. Job 25385, a GLP-3 RT 30mg vial received on 27 June 2025, reads 32.19mg (107% of label) at 99.991% purity. Job 26560, a tesamorelin 8mg and ipamorelin 2mg blend received on 31 July 2025, reads 8.975mg of tesamorelin (12.2% over label) and 2.438mg of ipamorelin (21.9% over) at 99.716% blend purity.

Three things stand out. Both reports state their method as RP-HPLC with UV detection only, with no mass-spectrometry identity check and no endotoxin result, although the home page lists both. Neither report prints a lot or batch number, so a certificate cannot be matched to a vial by its paperwork alone, whatever the label says. And both carry the store's watermark on the chromatogram and were sent in by the vendor, which is normal for a vendor COA but is not the same as a blind test. The lab-hosted copy is a real plus: it means the numbers were not edited after the fact. On every like-for-like line the archived Modern Aminos price is higher, by roughly double on the retatrutide-class vials. The store narrows the gap with frequent sitewide codes and, per Peptide Mind, 20% off for paying in crypto, but even a 20% cut leaves its 10mg retatrutide-class vial well above Amino Club's list price. Shipping, payment and returns

All vendor-stated. The US store ships only within the United States, by FedEx 2Day, FedEx Priority Overnight or UPS, and does not accept orders from outside the country; EU orders go to modernaminos.eu, which "will not have the exact same products". Orders placed before 4 PM Central on a business day are stated to ship the same day, with tracking emailed on dispatch. If tracking stalls for five days the store asks you to contact support, and if a parcel shows as delivered but is missing it asks you to wait 24 hours before raising it.

The refund policy is strict. Because of temperature sensitivity the store does not accept returns or give refunds for change of mind or ordering mistakes. Damaged, broken, defective or wrong items must be reported with photos within 14 days of delivery, after which the store replaces or refunds. Reputation signals the Bureau could source

Trustpilot. The profile for modernaminos.com now reads: "The business you're trying to find goes against our guidelines and is no longer visible on Trustpilot." Search-engine caches of the same profile still show about 1,563 reviews and a 4.9 score before removal. Trustpilot does not say which guideline was breached, so the Bureau does not guess; but a removal is a stronger signal than a low score, and the old 4.9 should not be relied on. The separate EU store has its own small profile.

Independent retests. Finnrick lists six tests of Modern Aminos vials, all of a compound it classes as retatrutide, from 20 June 2025 to 20 July 2026. Five pass and one, on 9 July 2025, fails; Finnrick's summary calls it "an earlier severe identity failure" and says confidence "remains limited by volume".
