Prime Peptides Review (2026): FDA Letter, Lab Reports, Prices

2.7
Bureau Score
The verdict: Public lot reports that match the lab, and a 30-day return with a prepaid label, which is rare here. Against that: an FDA warning letter from December 2024 to the same business, a 55% Finnrick rating on mostly older tests, and prices above Amino Club on nearly every line.

Prime Peptides is the store at primepeptides.co, run by Prime Vitality, Inc. from Santa Barbara, California. Its public product data listed 23 products on 2 November 2026, all in stock and all single vials. The Bureau has no affiliate program with this store, so nothing on this page links to it for commission.

This review scores it from public evidence read on 2 November 2026: the store's product data, its published policies, its testing page, reports opened at the lab, Finnrick and the FDA record. The Bureau did not create an account or place an order.

Is Prime Peptides legit? The short answer

It is a real store with unusually open paperwork and an open regulatory problem. The FDA warning letter of 10 December 2024 went to the company that runs today's store, about this same domain. Finnrick counts 7 of 20 tests passing, 460th of 489 vendors, though 19 of those 20 date from mid 2025.

Is it the same business as the FDA letter?

Yes, on the evidence read. The letter is addressed to Prime Vitality, Inc. dba Prime Peptides about primepeptides.co, and the store's terms, last updated 6 October 2026, name the same company and domain. The street address differs: the letter gives State Street in Santa Barbara, the store now shows De La Guerra Street. A move is our inference, not something the store states.

Who runs it and how it sells

Our top-scored source right now: Amino Club

The vendor Bureau readers order from most this year, lowest price per mg on most of what we track, batch COA on every product page. Partner code 100 at checkout takes 20% off a first order there, and keeps the order counted for the Bureau. Research use only.

The terms name Prime Vitality, Inc., doing business as Prime Peptides, at 133 E De La Guerra St, Ste 14, Santa Barbara, with a phone line and weekday hours. Whois shows the domain was created on 31 January 2024. The store says product is finished at "a North Carolina facility" from raw material made overseas, and does not name the factory, so that could not be checked.

Finnrick's vendor report (13 June 2026) ties the store to a 2024 California entity and says it found no named domestic processing partner. It also reports coupon and referral placements and an undisclosed discount-code style promotion. The Bureau did not verify those points.

What the FDA letter says

The letter is reference MARCS-CMS 695156, from the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. FDA reviewed the website in October 2024, plus the company's Facebook, Instagram and YouTube accounts. It found that the "Semaglutide" and "Retatrutide" products were "unapproved new drugs introduced or delivered for introduction into interstate commerce".

The research-use label did not help. In FDA's words: "Despite statements on your product labeling marketing your products for 'research purposes only' and 'not for human consumption or clinical use,' evidence obtained from your website establishes that your products are intended to be drugs for human use." The evidence it cited included product page claims about blood sugar, waist circumference and liver fat, a weight-loss blog post, customer testimonials and a YouTube video.

Three limits matter. The letter is about how the products were marketed. It is not a test of the vials and does not say any lot was contaminated. The Bureau found no close-out letter or company response in web searches on 2 November 2026, and Finnrick's report says the same, but absence from a search is not proof. And on the semaglutide and retatrutide pages the Bureau read, the cited claims no longer appear, with those pages now describing preclinical research. The Bureau did not read every page or the social accounts. The store still sells semaglutide, retatrutide and tirzepatide.

What the certificates show

Paperwork is the store's strength. Its testing page needs no login and states 49 certificates across 22 products and seven labs. The page's own data holds 65 records, 44 marked current and 21 archived; the Bureau did not reconcile that with the 49. Each record gives a lot, date, purity, quantity and a report number or lab key.

The Bureau opened three reports at Janoshik itself on 2 November 2026. All three are in the lab's database, name Prime Peptides as client and match the store's figures.

ReportLotAnalysedQuantityPurity
BPC-157, task 1563874042026BP15 May 202610.80 mg99.814%
TB-500, task 1637634142026TB26 May 202610.24 mg99.521%
Tesamorelin, task 1703534182026TM12 Jun 202610.21 mg97.736%

The tesamorelin figure of 97.736% is the lowest current single-compound purity on the store's list, and the store publishes it anyway. That is what a real record looks like. Fill is close to label on these three.

The newest BPC-157 report, lot 26082901 from Freedom Diagnostics (reported 3 September 2026), was read in full as the store's PDF: 99.63% by HPLC, 11.08 mg against a 10 mg label, about 10.8% over. Endotoxin reads "Pass" with no number, microbial is a PCR screen that is not a sterility test, and there are no heavy metals. It was not looked up at that lab.

Two cautions. The About page says every lot is tested by Freedom Diagnostics, while the testing page lists seven labs and more Janoshik reports than Freedom ones, so the claim and the list do not line up exactly. And a vendor chooses what to send a lab and what to publish, so a report shows what the lab received. The peptide testing guide covers what a lot report should contain.

What independent testing found

Finnrick tests vials that buyers send in. On 2 November 2026 it listed 20 tests, 7 of 20 classifiable tests passing, a 55% rating and 460th of 489 vendors.

CompoundFinnrick ratingTests
GHK-Cu72%5
Ipamorelin70%6
BPC-15744%6
CJC-129530%3

The dates change how this reads. Nineteen of the 20 tests are from May to July 2025, before the store's current certificates, so they do not describe today's lots. That is our reading of the dates; Finnrick does not say it. The one recent test, on 5 October 2026, is an ipamorelin fail. Finnrick also has no rated tests on retatrutide, tirzepatide or semaglutide from this store, so the compounds most people search for have no independent record here at all.

So there is a gap between the store's clean paperwork, which the store chooses and pays for, and buyer-sent tests, which are old and mostly failed. Only new buyer tests can close it.

Prices, against the scored vendors

Single-vial list prices from the store's public product data on 2 November 2026, against Amino Club, the Bureau's top-scored vendor, read by the Bureau's price tracker on 1 November. Both before any code.

Prime costs more on every line except GHK-Cu, where the price per mg is level. The gap runs from about 15% on retatrutide 30 mg to about 2.7 times on tirzepatide 30 mg. The store says so itself: "We don't try to be the cheapest." Today's prices at every vendor the Bureau reviews are on the price tracker; the BPC-157, TB-500 and tesamorelin guides compare the scored vendors that stock each.

Shipping, payment and returns

All as the store states them, from a shipping page modified 11 October 2026. Flat $9.95 FedEx 2-Day Air, free over $150, shipping weekdays at 14:00 Pacific from Santa Barbara, with tracking. US only, no PO boxes, and not to Ohio. Once a carrier marks a package delivered, the store does not take responsibility for loss. The Bureau placed no order, so delivery is untested.

The return policy, modified 7 October 2026, gives 30 days from arrival to request a return, a prepaid label after approval, and a refund to the original payment method within 3 business days of approval. Most stores outside the scorecard refuse returns, so this stands out. Whether it holds for an opened vial is not spelled out, and the Bureau has not tested it.

Card payments run through a processor, and the terms warn your statement may show a name such as "NEWSESH* GATEWAY" instead of Prime. The pages read do not mention crypto.

Reputation signals the Bureau could source

Regulators. The FDA letter above. A web search on 2 November 2026 found no Justice Department case naming Prime Vitality or Prime Peptides. Absence from a search is not a clean bill.

Finnrick. 55% from 20 tests, as above.

Trustpilot. The profile for primepeptides.co showed as removed on 2 November 2026. Trustpilot gives only general wording and no store-specific reason, so nothing more should be read into it. It does mean there is no Trustpilot figure to weigh.

Prime Peptides coupon codes

There is no Peptide Bureau code for Prime Peptides. The store advertises a referral offer of $25 on a first order of $125 or more, and bundles that save up to 15%. The Bureau saw no public code and tested none. For the vendors where the Bureau does hold a working code, the peptide coupon codes page lists each one with the date it was last tested.

Is Prime Peptides legit?

As a shop with real paperwork, yes. As the place to buy, the evidence does not get there. Its lab reports hold up when opened and its return terms are better than almost anyone's outside the scorecard.

The score sits at 2.7 because FDA's letter has no visible close-out, the buyer-sent test record is weak even after allowing for its age, and the same compounds cost less elsewhere.

Who it suits. A researcher who values a generous return and open lot paperwork above price, and has read the FDA letter. Who it does not. Anyone price-sensitive, or anyone buying BPC-157 or CJC-1295 on the strength of the test record. Amino Club, in the box below, sells the same compounds for less.

What would move the score

Up: new buyer-sent Finnrick tests that pass, including GLP compounds; a published close-out from FDA; a named factory; lower prices.

Down: further FDA action, more failed recent tests, or a return refused against the published policy.

How each line was reached: COA transparency credits a public lot list, exact quantities and three reports that matched at the lab, less a lab claim that does not line up, no numeric endotoxin and no metals on the report read. Shipping credits a stated flat rate, 2-day service and a named dispatch point, with no order of our own. Consistency reflects 7 of 20 tests passing and a failed test in October 2026, with some allowance for 19 of the 20 being from 2025. Customer service credits the 30-day prepaid return and a phone line, with no Trustpilot figure to set against it. Pricing reflects higher prices on all but one compared line. Longevity reflects a domain from January 2024 and an FDA letter with no close-out found.

Scoring methodology: documentation checks against published COAs, independent test databases, store prices, published terms and public-reputation cross-checks; reader orders where we have them, which for this vendor we do not yet. Frequently Asked Questions

Is Prime Peptides legit?

Prime Peptides at primepeptides.co is a real store run by Prime Vitality, Inc. of Santa Barbara, California. It scores 2.7 out of 5: its lot reports are public and the three the Bureau checked match the lab, but FDA sent it a warning letter in December 2024, Finnrick rates it 55%, and it costs more than the scored vendors.

Did the FDA warn Prime Peptides?

Yes. A warning letter dated 10 December 2024 told Prime Vitality, Inc. dba Prime Peptides that its semaglutide and retatrutide products were unapproved new drugs, and that research-use labelling did not change that. The letter concerned marketing, not a test of the vials. The Bureau found no close-out letter in a web search on 2 November 2026.

Are Prime Peptides lab reports real?

The three the Bureau opened at Janoshik on 2 November 2026 are in the lab's database, carry Prime's name and match the store's figures: BPC-157 10.80 mg at 99.814%, TB-500 10.24 mg at 99.521% and tesamorelin 10.21 mg at 97.736%. A report shows what the lab received, not what a later buyer receives.

What did Finnrick find on Prime Peptides?

On 2 November 2026 Finnrick listed 20 tests, 7 passing, a 55% rating and 460th of 489 vendors. BPC-157 rated 44% and CJC-1295 30%, with ipamorelin at 70% and GHK-Cu at 72%. Nineteen of the 20 tests date from May to July 2025, so they predate the store's current paperwork.

What is the Prime Peptides return policy?

The policy page, modified 7 October 2026, gives 30 days from arrival to request a return, with a prepaid label after approval and a refund within 3 business days of approval. It does not spell out how an opened vial is treated, and the Bureau has not tested it.

Is there a Prime Peptides coupon code?

There is no Peptide Bureau code for Prime Peptides, and the Bureau tested none. The store advertises a referral offer of $25 on a first order of $125 or more, and bundles that save up to 15%.
