Strate Labs Review (September 2026): Closed on 1 July, What Happened and Where to Go Instead

Strate Labs is closed. The vendor's own home page at stratelabs.com now carries a single notice that begins "StrateLabs has permanently closed", and the Bureau read it in the first week of September 2026. Two independent trackers record the notice appearing on 1 July 2026, and the notice itself states the domain "will be taken offline permanently" on 1 August 2026, a date that has passed even though the page was still resolving when the Bureau checked. The first half is the record: what Strate Labs said when it closed, the regulatory paper trail that preceded it, what the vendor sold, and what its pricing looked like on the last dated snapshot the Bureau could find. Everything is attributed. Where the sources disagree, the Bureau says so.

What the closure notice says

The notice on stratelabs.com is short. The Bureau quotes the operative lines in full: "StrateLabs has permanently closed." "The regulatory landscape around our industry has shifted in ways that make it impossible for us to continue operating." "If you have a pending order, it will ship as scheduled." "We have removed all order history for safety reasons. stratelabs.com will be taken offline permanently." "Site will be taken offline August 1, 2026." A founder's message thanks customers for their trust and apologises for the inconvenience. For outstanding questions the notice gives [email protected].

The notice also refers customers to two other suppliers, Chemistry Works (chemistry.works) and GL Peptides (glpeptides.is), each with a one-line endorsement. The Bureau has not reviewed either, does not score either, and is not linking to them; the referral is reported because it is part of the vendor's own statement, not because the Bureau agrees with it.

Timing. Amino Axiom's vendor-status page (published 24 August 2026) states: "Strate Labs posted a closure notice on its own website on July 1, 2026." Peptide Supply's article of 8 June 2026 reported earlier that the vendor had "announced it would close on July 1, 2026" and was showing "a sitewide notice" with clearance pricing in June. Peptide Grades' review, updated 23 March 2026, recorded the store as still trading at that point. Put together: trading in March, wind-down notice in June, closed on 1 July, domain scheduled to go dark on 1 August.

The regulatory paper trail before the closure

Strate Labs did not name a specific action in its notice, and the Bureau will not put one in its mouth. But there is a public record, and it is worth setting out in order because it is the clearest example in the category of what "the regulatory landscape" can mean for a research-compound vendor.

• 21 November 2023. The US International Trade Commission announced it had instituted Section 337 investigation No. 337-TA-1377, "Certain Products Containing Tirzepatide and Products Purporting to Contain Tirzepatide", on a complaint by Eli Lilly and Company. The press release lists eleven respondents, including "Strate Labs LLC of Spring, TX".
• May 2024. Strate Labs was found in default in the proceeding, per Amino Axiom and Peptide Supply, both of which cite the ITC docket. The Bureau has not read the default order itself.
• 15 April 2025. The Federal Register published the Commission's notice of a general exclusion order, a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders, terminating the investigation. The notice records "CDOs directed to Arctic Peptides, Triggered Brand, and Strate Labs". The Commission vote was 9 April 2025.
• March 2026. Peptide Grades recorded that tirzepatide had been removed from the Strate Labs catalogue and that the store had begun using a stratelabs.is domain alongside the .com.
• 1 July 2026. Closure notice posted, per the sources above.

Amino Axiom's page makes a point the Bureau agrees with: the cease and desist order preceded the closure by more than a year, and Strate Labs itself did not link the two. Peptide Supply adds that the FDA's September 2025 warning letters and import alert on GLP-1 active ingredients did not name Strate Labs. So the honest summary is that a named federal trade order existed against the company, that the company later cited "the regulatory landscape" as the reason it could not continue, and that the connecting sentence is inference rather than record. What Strate Labs sold, and at what price

The catalogue is gone with the site, so this section relies on two dated third-party snapshots. Peptide Grades (updated 23 March 2026) described an 88-product range covering peptides, SARMs, capsules and topicals, and recorded these list prices: BPC-157 5mg at $34.95, semaglutide 10mg at $99.95, retatrutide 10mg at $129.99 and an HGH 191aa kit of ten 10 IU vials at $249.95. It described US fulfilment from Texas and Delaware warehouses by USPS First Class, free shipping over $100, nondescript packaging, and Interac e-Transfer as the only rail for Canadian orders. Peptide Supply (8 June 2026) described the same mix, "research peptides, SARMs, oral capsules, topical blends", all sold as research-use-only with Certificates of Analysis and tamper-evident packaging.

On testing, Peptide Grades recorded that Strate Labs used Janoshik Analytical in Prague for HPLC with UV detection, and that only two products had published COAs at the time of its review, both above 99% purity, which it called thin coverage for an 88-item catalogue. The Peptide Catalog (6 September 2026) says the vendor "provided batch-coded Certificates of Analysis" without further detail. The closure notice states that all order history and certificates have been removed, so none of this can now be checked against the source.

Location is the one point on which the record is muddled. The ITC listed Strate Labs LLC in Spring, Texas in 2023. Peptide Grades in 2026 recorded a Strate Labs BV at a Doetinchem, Netherlands address with a Delaware registered agent, and warehouses in Texas and Delaware. The Bureau cannot reconcile those and does not try to.

The last known prices against what is available now

The left column is Peptide Grades' March 2026 record of Strate Labs list prices; it is historical and cannot be checked. The other columns are regular prices the Bureau read on the scored vendors' product pages in the first week of September 2026. Sizes differ, so read the mg column before the dollar column.

The pattern is that Strate Labs was priced in the middle of the current market, not below it. Its retatrutide 10mg at $129.99 sits within a few dollars of Apollo's coded GLP-3 R at $135.99 and well above Ascension's September sale price. Anyone who chose Strate Labs on price alone has not lost a bargain; anyone who chose it for the SARMs and capsule lines has, because none of the Bureau's scored vendors stock those. If you had an order or a vial from Strate Labs

Three practical notes, all drawn from the vendor's notice and the sources above. First, the notice says pending orders "will ship as scheduled" and, per Amino Axiom's reading of the same page, that customers would otherwise receive automatic refunds; the contact address given is [email protected], and the Bureau has no information about whether it is still monitored now that the stated take-down date has passed. Second, the notice states all order history and certificates have been deleted, so if you did not download the COA for a batch you hold, it is not retrievable from the vendor. The Bureau has not tested any Strate Labs product and makes no claim about the quality of what the company shipped.

The Bureau's honest read

Verified: the closure, from the vendor's own page; the 1 July 2026 date, from two named trackers; the ITC investigation, default and cease and desist order, from the USITC press release and the Federal Register; the vendor's stated reason, in its own words; the referral to two other suppliers; the pre-closure catalogue shape, testing lab and sample prices, from a dated third-party review.

Not verified: any causal link between the ITC order and the closure (the vendor did not state one); the company's true base of operations; whether the contact address still works; the purity of anything it shipped. The Bureau never ordered from Strate Labs and has not seen a Strate Labs COA at first hand.

The lesson the Bureau draws. Strate Labs was, on the record above, a mid-priced vendor with a broad catalogue, a named Prague lab and thin published COA coverage, that carried a federal cease and desist order for the last fifteen months of its life and then closed citing regulation. None of that was hidden; all of it was on public dockets. Per Peptide Grades' March 2026 review, an 88-product catalogue of research peptides, SARMs, oral capsules and topical blends, sold research-use-only with Certificates of Analysis from Janoshik Analytical in Prague. Recorded prices included BPC-157 5mg at $34.95, semaglutide 10mg at $99.95 and retatrutide 10mg at $129.99. Tirzepatide had been removed from the catalogue after the ITC cease and desist order. The catalogue is no longer viewable, so these figures are historical.

Can I still get a COA for a Strate Labs vial I own?

Not from the vendor. The closure notice states that all order history and certificates were removed from the site for safety reasons. If you downloaded the certificate for your batch before July 2026 you have the only copy that matters. Otherwise the only route to knowing what is in the vial is an independent test, which the Bureau's peptide testing guide describes. The Bureau has never tested a Strate Labs product and makes no claim about it.

Which vendors did Strate Labs recommend when it closed?

The closure notice refers customers to two suppliers, Chemistry Works at chemistry.works and GL Peptides at glpeptides.is, with a one-line endorsement of each. The Bureau reports that because it is part of the vendor's statement. It has not reviewed either supplier, does not score them, and does not link to them. Was Strate Labs a scam?

The Bureau does not use that word and has no evidence for it. The sourced record is of a vendor that traded from at least January 2023, shipped orders, published some COAs, carried a federal trade order over tirzepatide from April 2025, removed that product, and closed in July 2026 stating that pending orders would ship or be refunded. What the record does not contain is any independent test of what it shipped, and that is the gap researchers should weigh rather than a label.
