Is Onyx Peptides Legit? Review, Coupon and Real Site (2026)
Onyx Research, the storefront at onyxresearch.shop, is the store most people mean when they search "onyx peptides". It is the first Google result for the name, the one with 243 Trustpilot reviews, and the only Onyx store that Finnrick, the independent vial-testing database, lists. It sells 31 research compounds as single vials and 28 of them again as ten-vial boxes, publishes a certificate for each lot, gives a contact address in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and has been registered since 8 July 2025.
The name is crowded, which is the first thing a buyer needs to know. At least eight other registered domains pair "Onyx" with peptides, among them a separate European company that trades as Onyx Peptides and a misspelled onyxresaerch.com. This review scores Onyx Research only, from public evidence read on 27 October 2026: its 25 certificates checked against the lab's own copies, its store prices and terms, Finnrick, Trustpilot and the FDA record. The Bureau has no affiliate program with any Onyx store, so nothing on this page links to one.
Is Onyx Peptides legit? The short answer
Onyx Research is a real store with paperwork you can check, a short history and some open questions. onyxresearch.shop is live, publishes 25 lot-coded certificates from Freedom Diagnostics Testing that match the copies on the lab's own server, and has passed both independent Finnrick tests on record. Against that: the certificates leave out the heavy-metals test the site says every lot gets, fills run from 94% to 135% of label, the site names no company behind it, all sales are final once shipped, and Trustpilot has suspended the store's rating for a breach of its guidelines. The other Onyx domains are separate businesses or look-alikes.
Real site vs copycats (checked 27 October 2026)
| Domain | What it is | Status, 27 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| onyxresearch.shop | The store this review scores, trading as Onyx Research. Registered 8 July 2025. First Google result for the name; Finnrick and the 243-review Trustpilot profile point here, and its certificates name Onyx Research as the client. | Live |
| onyxpeptides.com | A different business: Onyx Peptides, a European store pricing in euros. Its site says it is run by Vexio j. s. a. in Slovakia and is "unaffiliated with any similarly named supplier on another domain". Registered March 2025. Not scored here. | Live, separate company |
| onyxresaerch.com | The real name with two letters swapped. Registered 12 March 2026. Sent the Bureau to a "human verification" page on another domain instead of a store, a pattern used by malicious redirects. | Look-alike: do not visit |
| onyxlabspeptide.com | A store called Onyx Labs Peptides, registered 11 August 2026. Nothing links it to Onyx Research. | Live, unrelated |
| onyxbiolabs.com | Onyx BioLabs, registered August 2025, with its own Trustpilot profile that ranks for the name. Its catalogue sits behind an email sign-up gate. | Live, unrelated |
| onyxpeptideresearch.com | A small site titled "Onyx Pep", registered July 2025. | Live, unrelated |
| onyxpeptide.com, onyx-peptides.com, onyxresearchpeptides.com | Registered January, June and April 2026. A blank page, a bot challenge and no response. | No store seen |
| onyxresearch.com | Registered in 2010, long before any of these stores. | Does not resolve |
How to check you are on the real one. Type onyxresearch.shop yourself, ending in .shop, rather than clicking a search result, an ad or a forum link. On the real store every certificate carries a search code beginning "Onyx" that opens the same PDF on Freedom Diagnostics Testing's site. If you meant the European Onyx Peptides, that is a separate company with its own terms, and nothing on this page describes it. Several Google results for the name are vendor write-ups posted on unrelated sites, such as a nonprofit's or a clinic's domain. They are not reviews, and any coupon code in them is unverified.
What Onyx Research is and what it sells
Our top-scored source right now: Amino Club
The vendor Bureau readers order from most this year, lowest price per mg on most of what we track, batch COA on every product page. Partner code 100 at checkout takes 40% off a first order until 1 November there, and keeps the order counted for the Bureau. Research use only.
Visit Amino Club Compare all vendorsThe about page describes a supplier "built for researchers who don't guess" and the contact page lists a support email, weekday hours of 9am to 5pm Eastern and a Fort Lauderdale street address with a suite number. The Bureau has not checked whether that is an office or a mail drop. No company name, registration number or named staff appears anywhere on the pages the Bureau read, including the terms. The entry gate asks visitors to confirm they are 21 or older; the terms say 18. Every page carries the research-use line: products are "intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory research" and are "not for human or veterinary consumption".
The catalogue, read through the store's public product feed, is 59 listings: 31 single products and 28 ten-vial boxes. Most are familiar lyophilised research peptides (BPC-157, TB500, GHK-Cu, MOTS-c, NAD+, tesamorelin, sermorelin, ipamorelin and others) plus GLOW, KLOW and Wolverine blends. The GLP-class compounds are sold under codes: GLP-1 SM, GLP-2 TZ and GLP-3 RT. Finnrick classes the two Onyx vials it tested as retatrutide. Two oral listings, MK-677 and RAD-140, are not peptides at all, and RAD-140 is an investigational SARM.
What Onyx Research publishes on testing, and what the certificates show
This is the strongest part of the store. Its test results page has a lot lookup, and the Bureau downloaded all 25 certificates it serves. Each names Freedom Diagnostics Testing, a US lab, with Onyx Research as the client, a lot code and a search code. The Bureau then fetched every one again from the lab's own server by that search code. All 25 exist there, byte-for-byte identical to the store's copies. Onyx passes a check most buyers never make. The lab itself publishes no ISO 17025 or other accreditation, which is common among the labs peptide stores use.
Not sure what belongs in your protocol?
Answer five questions about your goal, experience and budget and the Stack Builder shows you a matched research protocol on screen, with the compounds, cycle shape and vendor picks from the six vendors we score.
Build your stack, 2 minutesWhat the certificates contain: identity confirmed by LC-MS on all 25, HPLC purity from 99.03% to 99.97%, and two endotoxin replicates on 24. Twenty-four were received by the lab on 23 June or 15 July 2026; one, a CJC-1295 without DAC certificate, dates from January 2026, carries "Lot: N/A" and has no endotoxin result. Each certificate covers one vial from one lot, so nothing shows how much vials vary inside a lot.
Two findings cost points. First, the store's "seven-point panel", which it says every certificate covers, includes heavy metals. None of the 25 certificates reports a heavy-metals result. Second, net content. On the 19 single-compound certificates that report it, vials held between 94% and 135% of the label: a 5 mg DSIP vial measured 4.70 mg, a 10 mg epithalon 9.59 mg, while a 10 mg ipamorelin measured 13.49 mg and a 5 mg sermorelin 6.54 mg. Fifteen of the 19 were over 105%. Overfill is kinder to a buyer than underfill, but a range that wide means the label is not a precise guide to what is in the vial, and that matters for any measurement that starts from the stated amount. The six blend certificates give purity but no net content at all. The peptide testing guide explains what a lot-specific report should contain.

Pricing, against the Bureau's price tracker
Prices below are from the store's public product feed on 27 October 2026. Every single-vial listing showed a price 10% under its list price. Ten-vial boxes are priced at eight vials' list, which works out at 20% off list per vial. The medians come from the Bureau's own tracker pages, built the same day.
| Listing | List | Shown on 27 Oct | Per mg at list | Bureau tracker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BPC-157 10mg | $64.00 | $57.60 | $6.40 | see price tracker |
| GLP-3 RT 10mg / 60mg | $105.00 / $310.00 | $94.50 / $279.00 | $10.50 / $5.17 | coded; see retatrutide cost |
| Tesamorelin 10mg | $95.00 | $85.50 | $9.50 | median $8.50 per mg, 21 listings (tesamorelin price) |
| Sermorelin 5mg | $50.00 | $45.00 | $10.00 | median $7.80 per mg, 11 listings (sermorelin price) |
| GHK-Cu 100mg | $59.00 | $53.10 | $0.59 | |
| NAD+ 500mg | $85.00 | $76.50 | $0.17 |
So Onyx sits around the middle of the market, a little above the tracker median on single vials of tesamorelin and sermorelin, and close to it or below once you buy a box or use BOGO50. The reconstitution calculator does the dilution arithmetic for any vial size.
Shipping, payment and returns
All vendor-stated. Orders ship "the same or next business day, excluding Sundays and public holidays", with tracking emailed at dispatch and an estimate of 2 to 4 business days for domestic delivery. Shipping is free over $250, packaging is plain and tamper-evident, and expedited options are offered at checkout. The shipping policy quotes domestic times only; one Trustpilot reviewer describes an October international order that came back to the sender. The policy also says that once an order has shipped, "responsibility for delivery lies with the carrier", and disclaims customs, courier and weather delays.
Payment: the store's public cart configuration lists four third-party payment gateways, and by their names they include a pay-by-bank service and a crypto processor. The Bureau did not go through checkout, so whether cards are accepted is unconfirmed. Returns are the weak point: "all sales are final once shipped", and a damaged or incorrect order must be reported within 7 days for the store to "make it right". There is no return window for unopened products.
Reputation signals the Bureau could source
Finnrick. The independent testing database lists Onyx Research at onyxresearch.shop with two tests, both retatrutide, dated 16 December 2025 and 3 March 2026, both passing, for a 79% rating (135th of the 489 vendors it ranks). The per-test purity figures sit behind Finnrick's login, so the Bureau cannot quote them. No other compound from the store has been tested there.
Trustpilot. The profile for onyxresearch.shop shows 243 reviews, all from the past year, with 75% five-star and 17% one-star. There is no TrustScore: Trustpilot shows the rating as unavailable "due to a breach of our guidelines" and says it has removed a number of fake reviews for the company. That is a serious flag about how the reviews were gathered, whatever the products are like, and the Bureau gives the remaining star split little weight. The Onyx BioLabs profile that also ranks for the name belongs to onyxbiolabs.com, a different store.
Regulators. A search of FDA warning letters on 27 October 2026, including the 24 August 2026 letters to online peptide sellers, found none naming Onyx Research. The site names no company, so there was no entity name to search. Absence from a search is not a clean bill.
Reddit. Public search found no Reddit thread about Onyx Research; the pages that rank for it are write-ups on unrelated domains.
Look-alikes. See the table above; avoid onyxresaerch.com outright. The fake vendor checklist covers names with many near-identical domains.
Onyx Peptides coupon codes and discounts
There is no Peptide Bureau code for Onyx Research or any other Onyx store. A "Bureau" or "PB" code seen elsewhere is not ours. What Onyx Research itself offered on 27 October 2026: a home-page banner for BOGO50, buy one vial and get a second 50% off, which "auto-applies to eligible vial pairs and stacks with other coupons"; single-vial prices 10% under list; ten-vial boxes at eight vials' price; and a rewards scheme at one point per dollar, with 100 points taking 15% off an order and 500 points taking 30%. The store says rewards stack with BOGO50 but replace any other promo code. Check the cart total before you assume everything stacks.
Codes on coupon aggregators and on the unrelated sites ranking for the name are untested by the Bureau. A code that only works on onyxresaerch.com, or on any Onyx domain other than the one you meant, is a reason to leave, not a saving.
For the vendors where the Bureau does hold a working code, the peptide coupon codes page lists each one with the date it was last tested.
Is Onyx Research legit?
As a store, yes; as a long-term bet, not proven yet. The documentation beats most stores of its age: every certificate is real, lot-coded and on the lab's server, and two independent tests have passed. Fake stores do not have those.
What keeps the score down is everything around the paperwork. The store advertises a heavy-metals screen it does not show. Fills swing by about 40 percentage points between lots. The site names no company, and the only address given carries a suite number. All sales are final, and delivery risk passes to the carrier at dispatch. And Trustpilot has suspended the store's rating and removed fake reviews. With about 15 months of trading, there is not enough history to outweigh any of that.
Who it suits. A US researcher who will open the certificate for the exact lot, check it on the lab's site, and is comfortable with final-sale terms. Who it does not. Anyone who needs a named company to deal with, a return window, a heavy-metals result, or a review record nobody has tampered with. The scored vendors in the box below are the safer place to start.
What would move the score
Up: heavy-metals results on the certificates, as the panel promises; net content kept within a few percent of label, and on the blend certificates too; a named legal entity and registration on the site; more independent retests beyond retatrutide; a Trustpilot profile restored without a guidelines flag; a return window for unopened vials; and another year of trading without incident. A reader order with a matching certificate would also lift Consistency.
Down: a failed independent test, certificates that stop matching the lab's copies, new reports of orders not arriving, or any regulatory action.
Score breakdown
| Dimension | Score |
|---|---|
| COA transparency | 20 / 25 |
| Shipping | 12 / 20 |
| Product consistency | 16 / 25 |
| Customer service | 7 / 15 |
| Pricing | 7 / 10 |
| Longevity | 2 / 5 |
| Total | 64 / 100, Bureau Score 3.2 |
How each line was reached: COA transparency gets credit for 25 lab-verifiable, lot-coded certificates with endotoxin, and loses it for the missing heavy-metals result, an unaccredited lab, one lot marked N/A and one vial per lot. Shipping rests on stated same-day dispatch and tracking, with no order record of our own, domestic-only times and delivery risk passed to the carrier. Consistency credits the tight purity band and two passing Finnrick tests, and is held back by fills from 94% to 135%. Customer service is low for final-sale terms, no named company and a suspended Trustpilot rating. Pricing is mid-market with real discounts. Longevity reflects a domain registered in July 2025.
Scoring methodology: documentation verification against published COAs and the lab's own copies, store prices, published terms and public-reputation cross-checks; reader orders where we have them, which for this vendor we do not yet. Full criteria on the methodology page and the listing policy. No vendor has ever paid for placement or score.
Vendors the Bureau has scored, with working links
The Bureau has no affiliate program with Onyx Research, so this page carries no link to its store. These are the vendors on the 2026 scorecard that we can link to. Links may earn the Bureau a commission at no cost to you; that never changes a score. Research use only.
- Amino Club, 4.8: the Bureau's Editor's Pick and the vendor readers actually order from; lowest price per mg on most compounds we track and a batch COA on every product page. Partner code 100 takes 40% off a first order until 1 November. Review.
- Limitless Life Peptides, 4.5: a long-standing Florida vendor with a broad catalogue and COAs on the catalogue pages. Review.
- Pantheon Peptides, 4.4: the broadest catalogue in the top tier, with a per-batch Lab Results page linked from every product. Review.
- Apollo Peptide Sciences, 4.3: attaches the COA to every order and names the compound behind each coded GLP listing, at the highest per-mg cost in the set. Review.
- Ascension Peptides, 4.1: a public library of Kovera Labs certificates you can verify on the lab's site, and 50% off every order through our link; all sales final. Review.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Onyx Peptides legit?
Onyx Research at onyxresearch.shop, the store that ranks first for the name, is real and live. Its 25 certificates match the lab's own copies and Finnrick lists two passing independent tests. It scores 3.2 out of 5: no company is named, the heavy-metals test it advertises is missing, fills run from 94% to 135% of label, sales are final, and Trustpilot has suspended its rating.
What is the real Onyx Research website?
onyxresearch.shop, registered on 8 July 2025, where Finnrick and the 243-review Trustpilot profile point. Type it yourself. onyxresaerch.com, with two letters swapped, is not it: it sent the Bureau to a verification page on another domain.
Are Onyx Research and Onyx Peptides the same company?
Not as far as the Bureau can tell. onyxpeptides.com is a European store pricing in euros, which says it is run by Vexio j. s. a. in Slovakia and is unaffiliated with similarly named suppliers. This review scores Onyx Research only.
Is there an Onyx Peptides coupon code?
The Bureau has no code with any Onyx store. On 27 October 2026 Onyx Research ran BOGO50 (a second vial 50% off, applied automatically) on top of single-vial prices 10% under list, plus a points scheme worth 15% or 30% off. Aggregator codes are unverified.
Which lab tests Onyx Research products?
Freedom Diagnostics Testing, a US lab that publishes no accreditation. The Bureau pulled all 25 certificates from the lab's server and they match. They cover LC-MS identity, HPLC purity and, on 24, endotoxin; none shows heavy metals.
Does Onyx Research offer refunds?
Only narrowly. All sales are final once an order ships; a damaged or incorrect order must be reported within 7 days. There is no return window for unopened products.
Research use only. The compounds discussed are sold as research chemicals and are not approved for human use. Nothing here is medical advice.
