List prices read from each vendor's own store data on 28 October 2026, before any code. Single vials only: boxes of several vials are left out. Vendors are ordered by their lowest in-stock price per mg and nothing else; a vendor without a score is one the Bureau has reviewed but not scored. Partner codes are shown only where the Bureau has checked them in a live cart. Check price links are affiliate links: the Bureau earns a commission at no cost to you. Vendors with no link have no affiliate program with the Bureau. Limitless Life Peptides, OMNI Peptides and Southern Aminos show prices only after a login or an access request, so they are not in the table. The store data for Apollo Peptide Sciences did not answer on 28 October 2026; it comes back on the next read that works. Luv Aminos, Aurelia Research (US store), Peptide Partners and Penguin Peptides listed no single sermorelin vial the Bureau could price on 28 October 2026. Sermorelin is sold through two channels that rarely appear on the same page. Telehealth clinics and compounding pharmacies sell it on prescription, usually as a monthly programme price that bundles a consultation, the drug and supplies. Research-chemical stores sell it as a freeze-dried vial for laboratory use, priced per vial. This page is about the research vial, priced from each vendor's own store data every morning, with the prescription route set out below so you know which market a number belongs to.

What You Are Paying For

Sermorelin (sermorelin acetate) is the first 29 amino acids of human growth hormone releasing hormone, GHRH(1-29), the shortest piece of the natural hormone that keeps its full activity at the receptor. It carries no protective modification, so the body clears it within minutes, which is the main difference from tesamorelin, a full-length GHRH analogue with a cap that slows that breakdown. The tesamorelin vs sermorelin comparison covers how the two differ and the ipamorelin vs sermorelin page covers how it compares with a ghrelin-receptor peptide.

For a buyer, the short chain keeps the cost floor low. Twenty-nine residues with no added modification is a routine synthesis, so the price above that floor is mostly the vendor's position in the supply chain, the vial size and what the vendor spends on testing.

How to Read a Sermorelin Price

Vendors sell sermorelin in 2, 5, 10 and 15 mg vials, so the vial price alone tells you very little. Divide the price by the milligrams in the vial and every listing collapses into one figure you can compare: the price per mg in the tables above. Three things move that figure more than anything else.

  • Vial size. Small vials cost far more per mg: in the Bureau's October 2026 read, 2 mg vials ran about twice the price per mg of 10 mg vials. Whether a bigger vial saves money depends on how fast it is used once mixed: reconstituted peptide keeps for weeks in a fridge, not months. The storage guide covers the stability side.
  • Where the vendor sits in the supply chain. Almost no Western research vendor synthesises anything. They buy bulk material, then fill, freeze-dry, label and ship. Two vendors at very different prices are often selling material from the same source, so a high price is not proof of better material and a low one is not proof of worse.
  • Testing. A vendor that pays for a third-party certificate of analysis on every batch carries a cost that a vendor publishing one old certificate does not. That is a reason to pay a little more, and a reason to check the certificate is for your batch.

Some stores list it as "Sermo" or "sermorelin acetate". The prices above are matched by compound, whatever the store calls the listing, and sprays, blends and tablets are left out: they are not comparable per mg with an injectable vial.

Research Vial vs Prescription Sermorelin

Sermorelin was once an approved drug in the United States. EMD Serono sold it as Geref, and the company stopped making it in 2008. In 2013 the FDA published its determination that Geref had not been withdrawn from sale for reasons of safety or effectiveness (Federal Register, 4 March 2013). Since then there has been no branded sermorelin on the US market, and prescription sermorelin comes from compounding pharmacies, usually through a clinic or telehealth service.

Clinic prices are not comparable with the table above. They are monthly programme fees that bundle the consultation, the prescription, the compounded drug and supplies, and they vary widely by provider, so the Bureau does not quote a single figure. What the fee buys that a research vial does not: a prescriber, a licensed pharmacy that compounded the dose, and a label. A research vial is sold for laboratory research only, its content is whatever the batch certificate says, and every risk sits with the buyer.

How to Check a Vendor Before You Pay

The cheapest listing in the table is only cheap if the vial holds what the label says. Four checks take ten minutes.

  • Match the certificate to your batch. A useful certificate of analysis names the lab, the batch or lot number, the date, an HPLC purity figure and a mass spectrometry identity check. A generic certificate with no batch number proves nothing about your vial. The peptide testing guide shows what a real one looks like.
  • Type the address yourself. Popular vendor names attract look-alike domains, some of which take payment and ship nothing. The fake vendor checklist covers how to tell them apart.
  • Pay by card on a first order. Crypto and bank transfer discounts are real, and so is the chargeback right they cost you. Take the discount once a vendor has delivered.
  • Read the review. Every vendor in the table links to the Bureau's review or scorecard entry, which says what the vendor states, what the Bureau could verify and what it could not. The 2026 vendor scorecard ranks the ones we score.

Doses are outside the scope of this page. How a research schedule is usually written is in the sermorelin dosage guide, and the side effects page covers what was reported. The same daily table for tesamorelin is on the tesamorelin price page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of sermorelin today?

On 28 October 2026 the lowest in-stock price among the vendors the Bureau reviews was $6.00 per mg (Amino Club, 10 mg for $59.99), the median was $7.80 per mg and the highest was $15.00 per mg (Amino USA, 2 mg for $30.00). Prices are list prices for single vials before any code, read from each store's own data.

Why is research sermorelin cheaper than a clinic programme?

Because a clinic sells a service and a research store sells a vial. A clinic fee bundles a consultation, a prescription, a compounded dose from a licensed pharmacy and supplies. A research vial is sold for laboratory use only, with no label claim beyond its batch certificate, so it costs less and every risk sits with the buyer.

Is sermorelin still FDA approved?

No branded sermorelin is sold in the US today. EMD Serono stopped making Geref, the approved sermorelin product, in 2008, and in 2013 the FDA determined it had not been withdrawn for reasons of safety or effectiveness. Prescription sermorelin now comes from compounding pharmacies.

Which sermorelin vial size is cheapest per mg?

Usually the largest one a vendor sells. In the Bureau's daily read a 2 mg vial costs far more per mg than a 10 mg vial, and the size table above shows the lowest in-stock price per mg at each size. A big vial only saves money if it is used before it degrades once mixed.

Is the cheapest sermorelin listing the best buy?

Not on price alone. A price far below the rest of the market can mean a vendor clearing stock, a vial holding less than the label says, or a different compound. Check that the vendor publishes a batch-specific certificate with HPLC purity and mass spectrometry identity before treating a low price as a bargain.

How do I work out the cost of one dose?

Multiply the price per mg by the amount in milligrams; for sermorelin, amounts are usually written in micrograms, and 1,000 mcg is 1 mg. The Peptulator sermorelin calculator does the arithmetic and gives the syringe mark for a given vial and water volume; the dosage guide covers how schedules are written.
